If your code contains additional letters or numbers, first look for the beginning of the code. For example, a code starting with L-RATE belongs to the L-RATEXX family.
If the error message indicates a large number of sends even though you did not send anything, it may be:
If you do not recognize the sends indicated by the error message, your email address, device, or website may be compromised. [PERSON_NAME] the password for the affected address and check the devices, forms, or [PERSON_NAME] use it.
In this case, start by:
After applying [PERSON_NAME] corresponding to your error code, perform a new test send.
The problem is usually solved if:
If the test email is sent successfully and no new error message is returned, the configuration or block has probably been corrected.
I cannot find the error code in the received message
Read the full message again, especially the lines containing terms such as error, blocked, rejected, SMTP, L-RATE, L-SPAM, 550 or 451.
If no LWS code is visible, it may be a classic SMTP error. In that case, see the help: Understanding the main email error codes and their meaning.
The block should have disappeared, but sending still fails
Some blocks require a delay before they are lifted. [PERSON_NAME], the block may be extended or recur.
Also check that the cause has indeed been corrected: [ADDRESS], attachment size, invalid addresses, compromised password, or overly active sending script.
The error concerns my website and not my mailbox
If the error appears when sending from a contact form, an online store, WordPress, Prestashop or a PHP script, consult instead the help related to the codes LPI, LPB, LPO or to the PHP function mail().
In that case, the problem does not necessarily come from your email address, [ADDRESS] website or the script [PERSON_NAME] messages.
[PERSON_NAME] help should I consult
